A polished butt of limestone with a huge colony of plate corals, cut several times by white calcite veins. Individual growths can be observed in the colony. Tabular corals are organisms that inhabited calm, shallow, warm, well-oxygenated and sunlit seas in the Middle Devonian, about 384 million years before the present. Lazanecki limestone.
