A unique cross-section of the trunk of a primeval conifer, which is brightly colored and nicely preserved. This is an ass, so the other side is raw and naturally aesthetically sculpted. The sample is polished to a high gloss. In the lower part, you can see an overgrown cream-colored twig with visible annual rings. Permocarbon age, approx. 300 million years. It is a representative of one of the first conifers on Earth.
